    This article is not specifically about ocean desalination. But, it does
    editorialize about an option that dramatically reduces energy consumption &
    greenhouse emissions compared to other alternatives (most especially
    ocean desalination), eliminates discharges to our coastal waterways and
    ocean, and eliminates the need for massive ocean desalination plans in this
    area that will kill fish in their intakes.
