District (MWD) and the Municipal Water District of Orange County
(MWDOC)
These organizations are looking at a 100 MGD ocean desal plant to be located at the
San Onofre nuclear power plant. The SDCWA has recently allocated $825,000 to
study the cost of building desal at this site.
