Undergraduate Programs

  • Sustainability Programs - Sustainable living is a philosophy
aimed at reducing society's impact on the environment in
order to maintain resources and ecological systems.
Education programs in sustainability examine the impact
humans have on their city or the environment as a whole
and solutions for lessening that impact. Students on this
track typically go on for further education and may even
complete coursework in another related field such as social
    sciences, humanities or natural sciences.

  • Environmental Engineering - The environmental
engineering profession is concerned with protecting and
managing our air, water and energy resources. Education
programs in environmental engineering will quantify
sustainability, design strategies to minimize impacts and
make measures to improve environmental quality.
Engineering graduates can go on to a Master's degree or
enter the field in management, scientific and technical
consulting, or architectural, engineering servies, or even in
    the state government.

  • Environmental Science - Bachelor's degree programs in
environmental science arm students with the biology and
chemistry know-how to tackle environmental issues. They
also emphasize current events and scientific research.
Often times, enviro science majors pursue a post-graduate
degree to meet their career goals. Jobs may include soil
    conservationists, rangers, foresters, hydrologists, or
    environmental protection officers.

  • Environmental Management - A bachelor's program in
environmental management will teach students how to
maximize the use of natural resources without overusing or
permanently depleting. Students who study this can work in
a broad range of industries including waste disposal,
pollution control, public health, environmental protection
    and recycling.
